ABCGi, it’s pretty lame of you to come in here and:

1. Ignore the facts of what precipitated this thing in first place and…

2. Toss around a sad metaphor that really doesn’t parallel this situation at all.

But then again, judging from your comment as well as from the comments at Not Too Geeky, those who stand in defense of 9rules have proven themselves to be more impulsive and less thoughtful than the rest of us.

I appreciate your input, mostly because it further proves the points that I attempted to make in the post.

As I know you probably will, I’d just use this as a positive life experience. They don’t own you, so it isn’t like you are left out in the blogging world all alone.

I think any blog network is lucky to have you guys. You all have great writing skills and talent, and you deserve to be part of a network that respects that.

Dennis and Eddie – I appreciate your support and kind words. Eddie, I can tell from your comments that you’re a critical, thoughtful person, and I have the sincerest respect for that.

Ben, I knew you’d get axed, and you got the most raw deal of all. Your site rocks, and I know you’ve really been able to connect with your readers. Personally, I don’t think you fit the network stereotype either, and I think this will ultimately be liberating for ya. Your site stands on its own, and I have no doubts that it will continue to grow. You’ll lose approximately ZERO readers over this little ditty.
