Besides the fact that the old site sucked, the primary reasons for the new design were that I: <ul> <li>wanted to experiment with a different method of content presentation on the homepage, this time involving more visual elements like thumbnail pics</li> <li>wanted to encourage readers to delve deeper into the site instead of hitting the home page and hollerin' "cya"</li> <li>wanted a place that I felt comfortable sticking my portfolio</li> </ul> Hence, Pearsonified version 2.0.
