Klaus,

I used Photoshop to create a “polaroid-esque” background behind the photos, and then I applied a slight bevel to make them look three dimensional.

After that, I simply moved one photo on top of the other and rotated each one slightly so as to give the image of realism.

So long as you are being honest, then I think your integrity is pretty solid. Think of all the free films, books and theatre tickets sent to journalists.

If they were crap bean-bags, and you nevertheless said they were good, then that would be a different matter.

However, just like the editor of a newspaper, TV show, or magazine, you need to make a decision on how many product reviews you will carry, as a ratio of original, featured content. If Pearsonified changes its strapline to “The Bean Bag Review Blog” then you’ll probably lose this reader pretty damn sharpish!

I’m a dog lover like you Chris and if someone wants to get their product reviewed on my site it must be reviewed by my Cocker Spaniel and my Corgoranian!
