Brian, if you look in the Thesis 1.8 Design Options, you’ll notice a section underneath the Big Ass Save Button entitled “Fonts, Colors, and More!”

Expand the first subsection, Body, and then locate the first color box, which has a label that says “site background color.” By changing the value in this box, you can change your site’s background color.

I bought Thesis recently and am enjoying it. It hasn’t bumped my traffic up as I hoped, but my site doesn’t crash anymore like it did with my previous free theme. But I’m new to web design and can’t figure out how to change the background color of my site. Right now it’s all blinding white. I want there to be a frame around it “¦ so the content stands out more and it looks better.

Can somebody say me… I want to buy the Theme, but
I don’t know if I will be able to customize it. What I mean is, I want

Cindy — Thesis is the perfect foundation for someone like you because it allows you to do all the technical things correctly from the start. One of the things I like best about Thesis is that it will accommodate you at any skill level. If you're advanced, you'll be a ninja like no other with the theme; if you're just a beginner, you still have a lot of flexibility with the added benefit of knowing that your core code is airtight. In order to get started, you'll need to purchase a domain name from someone like GoDaddy, and then you'll have to purchase Web hosting as well (these are things you have to do even without Thesis). For your hosting, I highly recommend the team at MidPhase because I know a few of the guys personally, and they have experience with Thesis installations.
