With new media, the deregulation of media and the introduction of electronic media everything is now up for grabs. Including you. In fact many of you are very cognizant of this fact if I were to judge the amount of personal facebook status updates I see every day, not to mention those of you twittering your personal actions, thoughts or feelings to other followers- your own synthetic fan base, or community. Which begs the question, who then isn’t a celebrity? You of course.

Oh boy... I cannot stress enough how sad I am when someone doesn't reply to my emails... And I'm not talking about celebrities.

Love your site and your philosophy!

Thanks!

Found your site through your <a href="http://mixergy.com/chris-pearson-thesis-interview/" rel="nofollow">Mixergy interview with Andrew Warner</a>.

Oh I have just been having this augment in my mind lately. I follow a couple of popular bloggers, but to be honest get, shitty when you write something on their blog, or twitter and they never notice it. I can understand that that it's hard to respond to everyone, but at the same time, when you are a follower for a long while and you get nothing, it a real turn-off...whether on purpose or not.

Andrew from http://mixergy.com, is the perfect example of how to be an online persona. He is very personable with his users, and tries to communicate with users as much as he can, including commenting on users blogs or emailing users with his personal replies. He does a brilliant job, and I respect him so much more for it. That's how you get true fans :) Build a relationship with your fans, and your fans will talk you up.

You are so right!

I agree with your video post 110%

Some people think they're too good to interact with their fans and they forget that without those fans they will not be who they are now.

Great post--Keep it coming :)

Okay, I've tried really hard not to comment on this, but I just watched it again and have to. I have deducted from previous comments that I am not the only one that thinks this but I'm gonna say it anyway... "Holy fucking yum!"
