Hi Chris,
I’m a newbie whose head is about to explode. I found your site by accident while researching something else, and I’m shocked by the different advice it offers. I’m currently setting up a travel site focusing on short trips. I was following along with the “use limited categories” logic, but now I’m totally confused about what my individual articles are: posts or pages? If I understand correctly, are you saying that each new article should be a separate page? And that categorizing each page is then sufficient? If you could take the time to clear this up, I would be eternally grateful, and I will definitely purchase Thesis for my site. I’m only using a free WordPress theme until I figure out what I’m doing. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

Interesting, as i do believe that yoast do not reccomend indexing the category pages or archive pages. do you disagree?

I am so damn glad that the rest of SEO isn’t this simple or I’d be out of business. Although, I can confirm that it’s 100% effective. It also works for sub-categories.
