I bought an iSight last week with the hopes that I would be able to get some video going on this site, and since we’re talking about Apple products here, I figured that it’d be a snap to set up. Right?

I mean, this is a video camera, right? So it should be really freaking easy - I’m talking lobotomy patient easy - to get rolling and record some video footage…Right?

Mac Daddy: Part 2 - 7

Any of my friends will tell you that I’m a PC guy. Whenever anyone approached me about getting a Mac, I’d poo-poo their Mac-lust by throwing out lines like:

  • Do you really want to pay for software for that thing?
  • Are you ready to learn a new OS?
  • Dude, you know you can’t mod those things out like you can a PC.
  • They’re so overpriced! What will you do when it’s time to upgrade?

Well, now I’m a hypocrite.

A Designer’s IE 7 Wish List - 1

XP = Boring…Mod Your PC! - 13

For some reason, I’ve been on a “mod my PC” kick this week. I think I’ve just grown bored of the XP platform, and I’ve been itching to get that same silky interface vibe that I got when XP was first released. I know, I know - some of you are out there rolling your eyes at all of this, but the fact is, Tahoma with the Clear Type setting was really visually appealing the first time around. I loved it, and simply using my laptop was a pleasure thanks to the crispness and silkiness of the display.
