What happened to the mutual respect that web professionals are supposed to pay one another? I mean, I know there’s not a formal guild or anything, but seriously - why on earth would anyone want to go out and throw a colleague under a bus without provocation? While I have no sound rebuttal to combat pure insanity, all I can say this morning is this - Michael Arrington of TechCrunch is officially losing it.

Welp, it’s official. After months of talking about it (but not actually doing anything - that’s crazy talk!), I’ve finally designed a WordPress theme that has been released for public consumption. Yes, it’s true - you too can have a Chris Pearson design for the low, low cost of…wait for it…nada!

Monday marked the launch of the brand spankin’ new WordPress theme I told you about last Friday, and you can check out the first rollout over at Tech.Erati. The basic idea here was to produce a template that could be used across a variety of interrelated sites, creating the look and feel of a magazine when viewed as a whole.

Hold your breath, ladies and gentlemen, because I’m on the verge of unveiling one of the coolest WordPress themes in the history of the internets. This theme is going to be customized to fit about 12 sites immediately, and it will be adapted to the different content through simple color palette changes (which affect some graphics, too).
